Foenix cruisers, respect is rad, 2girlssk8, tiljune, totem skateboarding and Big hart invite you to join us for a powerful celebration of women in skateboarding and community.

our International Women’s Day Skate Festival brings together female skaters, artists, leaders, and allies for a day of connection, visibility, and impact.

This free, inclusive event supports women’s presence in skate culture while raising funds for our high-impact charity partners. big hart, women’s & girl’s emergency centre and skateistan, supporting women’s wellbeing and social change locally, nationally and globally.

Expect skate workshops + competitions for all levels, self-defence classes, live music/dj, roller performance, art activations and much more — all centred around empowerment, representation, and meaningful impact.

*This is a proudly women-led, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and community-driven event - creating space for people of all identities to skate, connect, and be seen safely.

Big Hart

An Australian non-profit using arts and storytelling to support young people facing disadvantage, with community programs like Skate of Mind led by Lincoln Smith and supported by powerhouse Chris Donoghue.
Respect is Rad

A global movement co-founded by Dr Indigo Willing, Evie Ryder and Miljana Miljevic that uses skateboarding and creative campaigns to promote consent, respect, and gender equality.
Tiljune

A creative skate and art collective founded by Matilda Holman that centres queer community and inclusive spaces through skate events, art activations and creative collaborations.
2GirlsSk8

a grassroots skate initiative founded by mother–daughter duo, Britt Traish and Kaz Bennett, creating empowering spaces for girls and women to learn, progress and connect through skateboarding.
Totem Skateboarding

An Australian skateboard brand and community initiative supporting skate culture through creative projects, collaborations and community events, founded and led by Nigel Cameron.
