Foenix cruisers, respect is rad, 2girlssk8, tiljune, totem skateboarding and Big hart invite you to join us for a powerful celebration of women in skateboarding and community.
our International Women’s Day Skate Festival brings together female skaters, artists, leaders, and allies for a day of connection, visibility, and impact.
This free, inclusive event supports women’s presence in skate culture while raising funds for our high-impact charity partners. big hart, women’s & girl’s emergency centre and skateistan, supporting women’s wellbeing and social change locally, nationally and globally.
Expect skate workshops + competitions for all levels, self-defence classes, live music/dj, roller performance, art activations and much more — all centred around empowerment, representation, and meaningful impact.
*This is a proudly women-led, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and community-driven event - creating space for people of all identities to skate, connect, and be seen safely.

Foenix Cruisers
A Sydney-based women’s skate collective empowering women through skateboarding and community, founded and led by Sam Whyte.

An Australian non-profit using arts and storytelling to support young people facing disadvantage, with community programs like Skate of Mind led by Lincoln Smith and supported by powerhouse Chris Donoghue.
