WAIVER AND RELEASE BY PARTICIPANT OR PARENT/GUARDIAN OF PARTICIPANT I/We hereby acknowledge and agree that skateboarding and other like activities (“activities”) is a dangerous sport and participation in activities organised by the owner of Foenix Cruisers by their nature involves inherent and unknown risks to me, other participants and property I understand and accept that these risks may result in serious injury, illness, property damage, or loss of life and any other damages however caused. By signing this Waiver and Release, I voluntarily assume for myself or on behalf of my child/children/participant all the consequences as referred to in clause 2. above and associated in any way with the activities. This Waiver and Release has been given freely and voluntarily by me and on behalf of my child or participant. I acknowledge that I have been given the opportunity to seek legal advice about the nature and contents of this Waiver and Release. In voluntarily participating in activities organised by the owner of Foenix Cruisers, except in the case of gross negligence, I hereby forever release, discharge, and will hold harmless the owner of Foenix Cruisers, its organizers, volunteers, and any affiliated entities or individuals, owners of properties or venues where activities take place, including public and private spaces. I hereby consent to the use of my or the participant’s image, likeness, or recordings in promotional materials for the Women’s Skate Collective or other like organisation, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed publications.
